Q: What’s more exhausting than parenting a neurodivergent child with big emotions?

A: Trying to teach emotional regulation tools that fight their wiring instead of working with it. 😭❤️‍🩹

Being able to go out now without the fear of something being too intense...is everything.

Prior to Emily's class, our daughter's emotional outbursts could be extremely intense, extremely prolonged, scary for her, and sometimes scary for other people involved as well.

We had been to therapists. We had been to behavioral specialists. We'd been to psychiatrists [...]

Seeing the difference in our family being able to go out now without the fear of something being too intense for her and potentially setting off an episode is everything....

— Nicole R., Mom of 11 Year Old

At the risk of being offensive… this really isn’t for you if:

  • You really just want us to build a control button you can push whenever you need your kid to comply

  • You think the best way to teach a kid is to scare the daylights out of them

  • You believe all roads to family growth should somehow bypass the parents entirely

  • You’re offended by corny jokes, random comments, or someone with a different opinion

  • You can’t handle a dash of Emily’s neurospiciness 🌶️

Now, can you check any of these boxes?

  • You feel the ice-cold hairs stand on the back of your neck when you think about the next meltdown or shut-down

  • You find yourself spinning around second-guessing about how to help, what to say, and what not to say.

  • Your heart breaks into a thousand pieces when you wish the world could see how incredible your child is underneath their dysregulation.

  • You’ve tried strategies, therapies, books, charts, coping skills, and more...and maybe they’ve helped some. But you know there’s definitely still room for (a lot more) growth.

  • You care deeply about your kid and want to see your kid handle big emotions like, disappointment, hurt, anger, boredom and more…without exploding 🔥 or shutting down 🧊

If so - BBE was built for your amazing family.

He Actually Used the Tools on His Own

....Emily has an amazing gift for teaching kids on their level and helping them understand how their neurodivergent brain and body work.

Just the other day, my son started having big emotions [...] a minute later it was quiet. I looked over and he was doing his breathing up and down on his fingers.

I was amazed. It was just night and day different from before.

— Kate Martin, Mom of a 7-Year-Old Son with Autism & ADHD

But Really - What Sets Emily Apart?

Other than my dashingly good taste in spreadsheet column widths 😉, I bring two important parts to the classroom: professional experience and lived experience.

I have the fancy degrees, the letters after my name, and tons of post-graduate training...but none of that taught me what my heart would go through as a parent.

The full, bursting joy of loving these precious humans. The dull ache of watching them struggle. Seeing them crumble, explode, shut down, or feel like they don’t quite fit.

The piercing realization that my own dysregulation was sometimes fueling the fire.

And the bright, expansive hope that came when I realized learning alongside my kids could change everything.

That combination of professional and personal experience? That’s the sweet spot.

After figuring out how to help my own family with emotional regulation, I put my teacher crown back on and have now helped thousands of families around the world.

And time and time again, we see the same:

Helping your child learn emotional regulation - and joining them in the journey - radically changes their life.

And yours.

Introducing…

The Brain-Body Emotional Regulation Class for Neurodivergent Kids

Empower your child to understand their unique brain and nervous system so they can better manage their big emotions without exploding or shutting down.

So - What’s BBE’s Secret Sauce?

You want a chef to give away her recipe?! How dare you!

Just kidding 😉

Happy to overshare!

What Makes Our Approach Unique:

We work with your kid’s unique brain, not against it

Because chances are, the world is working enough against it.

So, we’ve use some awesome teaching methods and approaches that make this material so much easier to digest, and so much more effective long-term.

We support parents, too

How in the world can we expect kiddos to change if their parents aren’t making the same changes themselves?

So you can expect the support, community, education, accountability, and motivation you need to truly help support your child on their growth journey.

What Happens When Your Kiddo Has a Brain-Body Approach to Emotional Regulation?

1. Improved Self Esteem

This means no longer believing they’re simply a “bad kid” or carrying the heavy shame of thinking, “Nobody else struggles like me.”

When they start believing different isn’t bad, understand how their amazing brain works, and identify their incredible strengths, they open themselves up to SO much more learning, growth, confidence, and self-esteem.

2. Increased Awareness & Understanding

Right now, they may be basically singing with earplugs in - totally unaware they’re getting overwhelmed until they’re already boiling over.

With BBE, they’ll start noticing what sets them off, what their body feels like before they flip their lid, and what helps before everything hits the fan.

In other words - your child will start catching what’s happening earlier, recognizing their own signs of dysregulation, understanding what works for them, and coming back from hard moments more quickly.

Awareness is power. Let’s build it.

3. Ownership & Desire

Your kid will be very resistant to learning if they feel they have to do it. They’ll feel even more resistant if you’re forcing regulation tools that they don’t even like.

We’ll coach you on how to get their buy-in…while still being the steady home leader they need.

P.S. This also means they'll naturally want to start to apply the learning as a natural bi-product.

4. More Peace at Home

I wish I could guarantee that within 24 hours of purchase, you’ll have rainbows, unicorns, and glitter cannons every hour…but, frankly, I don’t want to be responsible for the cleanup. 😅

But for reals - I want to make this clear:

I’m not offering instant gratification. It will require effort, doing some things differently, and sticking with it when you hit bumps in the road.

Will things be instantly perfect? Nope.

But oh my goodness, they can become SO. Much. Better.

5. Brighter future

You know deep down that it’s not just the instant relief driving you here. You’re worried about your kid’s future.

You know you have an incredible opportunity to influence them for good, for the long-term.

Let’s work together to change the path from the dysregulation dragout to the regulation roadmap.

Our Whole Family Handles Hard Moments Better

Emily has taught all of my children in person, and they’ve always loved learning from her. So when I had the chance to enroll my 9-year-old and 11-year-old in BBE, I jumped at it.

We still have our fair share of challenges, but I can handle them so much better.

Just the other day, instead of screaming, I heard my daughter tell her brother, ‘Take a breath. Use your tool.’ It was so cool!

Recovering Faster, Reconnecting More

After years of surviving daily dysregulation and feeling completely at the end of my rope. I came across Emily Hamblin's Brain and Body Emotional Regulation course, and I'm so grateful that I did....

She has an incredible ability to be able to draw kids out, make them feel safe and engage in learning these new skills.

Well, my child was extremely reluctant initially with the right support from Emily, I was able...to encourage and support them in wanting to do this course, and it worked. And I have to say that my child dove in and actually enjoyed what they were learning.

While we are still very much a work in progress, we are recovering faster from those big emotions and

the most important part for me is that we have a lot more opportunities to reconnect after the storm passes.

So the knowledge and the tools that we have learned through this course have been very, very valuable. I can't really put a price on it. I'm so grateful to Emily and her team for their unwavering support, encouragement, and for giving our family the skills that we were so desperately lacking.

“What if we enroll and don’t see improvement?”
“What if AI takes over the world before we finish?” 🤖

But for the first two? If you do the work, we’ll stand behind the program.

Follow the process. Go deep in launch week. Follow the Regulation Roadmap™.  Complete the lessons. Show up to the calls or catch the replays. Reach out when you’re stuck. Participate in the community. Implement what you’re learning.

And if you do all of that and still don’t see any improvement in your family’s emotional regulation, we’ll give you every penny back.

Understanding Her Brain and Body

My highly gifted, twice-exceptional, neurodivergent preteen is pretty much allergic to anything that even smells like it might be for little kids. So when I saw that BBE was for ages 6–17, I was skeptical. That’s a huge age range, and I wasn’t sure it would really fit her.

But - I’d worked with Emily before, though, so I trusted her and gave it a shot…and I was pleasantly surprised by how well Emily adapted the class, and even more surprised by how much my daughter enjoyed it. But what mattered most was what I started seeing outside of class.

My wonderful child became more confident in understanding herself, more aware of what was happening in her brain and body, and better able to put that into words and communicate it to me.

I went into BBE wondering if it would feel too young for her. I came out of it with a daughter who understood herself better, could communicate what was happening inside of her more clearly, and honestly helped me understand her better too.”

— Nicole T., Mom of a Preteen Neurodivergent Girl

Emotional Regulation Was the Missing Piece

Even after years of services, emotional regulation was still the missing piece...After working with Emily through the BBE course, we saw a meaningful difference not only in his emotional regulation, but in his overall quality of life and our quality of life as a family.

...Her authenticity, confidence, and genuine care for the families she works with stood out from the beginning. We could not be happier with the results.

Got Questions?
I’ve Got You!

What ages is BBE for?

BBE was created for neurodivergent kids and teens, roughly ages 6-17. But we care way more about stages than ages. If your child can participate in short lessons, answer questions, and engage with you around what they’re learning, there’s a good chance BBE can work beautifully for them. We’ve also seen amazing results when young adults take this class with their parents.

Does my child need an official diagnosis?

Nope. Your child does not need an official diagnosis to participate.

That said, BBE was created specifically for neurodivergent kids, and we talk openly and positively about neurodivergence throughout the program. Your child should know that going in.

And because neurodivergent kids are wildly different from one another, BBE is intentionally not one-size-fits-all. We give you an adaptable, flexible curriculum and teach you how to make it work for your unique child and family.

What if my kid refuses to do it?

Ahhh yes. The classic: “I bought you something helpful!” “NO.”

We expect resistance sometimes. That’s exactly why Launch Week starts with YOU. We’ll help you introduce BBE in a way that builds ownership and buy-in instead of making this feel like one more thing being forced on your kid.

And if they still resist? Bring it to us. That’s part of what the 12 weeks of support are for.

What does “Beta” mean?

Technically, beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet. 😉 Here, it means we’re still learning and refining BBE Flex as we go.

That’s actually a great time to jump in: you get a significant discount in exchange for your feedback, we use that feedback to make BBE even better, and you get access to the improvements too.

Wait - Does "Beta" mean my kid is a guinea pig? 🐗

Depends - do you want it to? 😉

Nope. We’ve already taught BBE live to 100+ students with fantastic results. What we’re testing and refining is the Flex delivery model, not the curriculum itself.

We created BBE Flex because live-only was too rigid, but on-demand-only didn’t give families enough support. So Flex combines interactive, on-demand lessons with live and asynchronous support.

The curriculum is proven. The flexible experience is what we’re making even better.

How much time does this take?

Plan on roughly one hour a week with your child, plus about one additional hour a week for you as the parent.

When and where you spend the time is something we’ll coach you on. For example, you can break a student lesson into three 20-minute chunks and participate during dinner, listen to parent training while folding laundry, or otherwise adapt the lesson to your personal circumstances.

What if I have more than one kid?

You’re in luck! BBE is one login per family, so you do NOT need to purchase the program separately for each child.

We do ask that you don’t share your login with other families. Integrity and honesty are probably values you want to teach your kids too, so we’re counting on you to model them here. 😉

Same family. Same login. No paying twice. Amazing, right?

What if we have a tight schedule?

Then you’ll fit right in 😂

The core curriculum is completely on-demand, so you do not have to rearrange your life around a live class schedule.

The live coaching, Q&As, and parent deep dives are there to give you additional support. If you can’t attend an adult call live, you can easily catch the replay. Kids also have options for asynchronous interaction with Emily and the team.

How long do we have access?

You’ll receive 12 weeks of active family support, but you get lifetime* access to the BBE Curriculum.

Come back to it. Repeat a lesson. Revisit a concept when your kid hits a new stage. Use the curriculum as your family grows.

*“Lifetime” refers to the life of the course. As long as the course remains available, you’ll continue to have access - and I plan for it to be available for a long, long time. 🥳

Is this therapy?

No. BBE is an educational emotional regulation program. It does not diagnose or treat mental health or medical conditions, and it does not replace individualized care from qualified professionals.

What if my child is already getting other support?

Great. BBE can work alongside therapy, occupational therapy, medication, naturopaths, school supports, coaching, and many other approaches.

Families come to BBE with very different beliefs, backgrounds, and support systems. We’re not here to tell you there is ONE right way to support your neurodivergent child. We’re here to add another powerful piece to your toolbox.

What if we’ve already tried emotional regulation tools?

Perfect. You’re not starting from zero.

Maybe some things have helped a ton. Maybe others have spectacularly flopped. BBE goes deeper than handing your kid another list of coping skills. We help them understand what is happening inside their own brain and body, recognize their patterns, and figure out which tools actually work for them.

But won’t this require effort?!

Yep.

But what’s harder: carving a new path, or staying on the old one that keeps leading your family somewhere you don’t want to go?

BBE gives you the tools, the instructions, and the support to help make it easier. But it does require effort from you.

And it’s effort that’s 1000% worth it.

Will this stop my child from getting dysregulated?

No. Your child will still have challenges. They’ll still experience disappointment, overwhelm, anger, sensory overload, frustration, and hard days.

We’re not trying to create a child who never gets dysregulated.

We’re working toward a child who can notice what is happening sooner, recognize their own warning signs before they hit the boiling point, understand what helps them, and recover more quickly when dysregulation does happen.

And yes, that takes work.

But as those new skills and patterns become stronger, the hard moments can become easier to recognize, easier to navigate, and easier to recover from.

I already know I want this but I’m spinning in overthinking and indecision. Help!

I know. Change is hard, and it can be scary to try something new when you’ve been let down before.

But if you already know you want this, maybe you do not need 47 more tabs, three more podcasts, and another week of thinking about it. 😉

At some point, you just have to decide to try.

And remember, you’re not taking all the risk here. If you show up, follow the process, do the work, and genuinely don’t see meaningful improvement, our 100% Implementation Guarantee has your back.

If you’re ready - come on in. You bring your very real, very imperfect family, and we’ll bring the tools, support, encouragement, and people who actually get it. 💛

Ready To Empower Your Child From Within?

Fewer Explosions, More Understanding

We were having a lot of emotional explosions, and they were just always larger than life...

I was initially concerned about whether he would be able to comprehend the lessons and understand the material, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easily he was able to sit through the lessons, engage, and understand.

The class gave me tools to help my child, and it gave him tools too. We now have this language where we can communicate with each other and understand where the other person is coming from...

I definitely saw changes in myself and how I was able to communicate too.

More Hope for Our Family’s Emotional Health

...sometimes that information can be better received from someone who isn’t Mom....

I was a little worried about the class being online, but... Emily is such an engaging teacher. She uses great examples, makes it really fun, and my boys looked forward to it every week. One of them even told me several weeks after the class ended how much he loved it.

...We still have struggles, but overall I feel like we’re heading in the right direction, and I think this class is one of the great contributors to that...
